SMS Opt-In & Consent

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This page documents how end users consent to receive text messages through Logli, the message program itself, and the opt-out terms. It is the public reference for our messaging program and is intentionally accessible without an account so it can be reviewed by carriers and messaging partners.

The messaging program

Logli is an AI texting assistant for local service businesses (plumbers, electricians, landscapers, and similar solo operators). Logli sends SMS on behalf of those businesses to help their customers. All messaging is two-way and conversational — there is no marketing, no bulk sending, no purchased lists, and no shared opt-in data.

Messages fall into these categories:

  • Appointment booking help and available-time options
  • Lead follow-ups and callback scheduling
  • A one-time feedback/review request after a completed appointment
  • Lead and booking alerts sent to the business owner

Opt-in path 1 — Customers (consumer-initiated)

Consent is consumer-initiated and captured at the point of contact. The customer always starts the conversation by contacting the business's own publicly listed phone number — shown on the business's website, Google Business Profile, and signage:

  1. A customer calls or texts the business's published number.
  2. If a call goes unanswered, it forwards to the business's Logli line, and our assistant texts the caller back to help them book or request a callback.
  3. Because the customer reached out first, they have initiated the conversation and consented to a reply. The first message they receive identifies the business and Logli and includes opt-out instructions (see the footer below).
  4. After a completed appointment, the customer may receive one feedback request. Replying STOP at any time ends all messages.

Every customer's first message in a thread carries this disclosure footer:

— Joe's Plumbing via Logli. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Opt-in path 2 — Business owners (onboarding)

Business owners separately opt in to receive lead and booking alerts at their own mobile number. During setup, the owner types their mobile number into the dashboard and saves it. An on-screen consent notice is shown directly beneath the input. This is the exact notice displayed in the product:

By saving your number, you agree to receive SMS lead and booking alerts from Logli at this number. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
